To provide benefit of education in rural area, Late Sant Baba Uttam Singh Ji started Sri Guru Angad Dev College at Khadur Sahib. This college was dedicated to the Quincentenary Gurpurab of Sri Guru Nanak Devji. To provide quality education along with spirituality at reasonable charges to students of rural area, Baba Uttam Singh Ji started Baba Gurmukh Singh Uttam Singh Sen Sec School at Khadur Sahib, Distt. Tarn-Taran in 1984 and Sri Guru Arjun Dev Public Sen Sec School at Kartarpur, Distt.Jalandhar in 1987. To provide quality education to the children of Sikhs settled at remote rural areas of MP, Baba Sewa Singh Ji started Sri Hargobind Public Sen Sec School Buti Kuian in 1997, Bandi Chhod Academy Garhsondi in 2000 and Bandi Chhod Academy Mohna in 2002. In addition, he also started Guru Nanak Senior Secondary School Dabra (Gwalior) and Sri Guru Hargobind Public School Sheopur. After making these schools financially self sufficient, both the schools have been handed over to the local Management Committee. Dedicated to Quincentenary Gurpurab of Sri Guru Angad Devji, Baba Sewa Singhji started Sri Guru Angad Dev College of Education at Khadur Sahib in 2005. ….more
